Qualifications and Responsibilities:

– Experience teaching preschool and working with young children is required.
– National CDA, FCCPC or Staffing Credential.
– Ensure curriculum implementation and maintaining a high quality program.
– Be able to create lesson plans and implement them, as well as evaluate students.
– Enhancing and exceeding expectations in assigned classroom
– CPR/First Aid certification.
– Clean Record.
– English Speaking is a must.
– Have good communication skills with parents.
– Be creative, enthusiastic and motivated.

Director for Thumbelina Learning Center VII

We are seeking a Center Director with experience to oversee our daycare. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic about education. This person must possess FCCP/Director’s Credential. Must be familiar to School Readiness/VPK/Step Up for Children and Federally Funded Food Program. Must also have an updated background check. We are looking for someone who’s honest and responsible.

Qualifications:
* Must be familiar with the food program and TLE. Must be able to do all the paperwork.
* Certified Childcare Director
* Background check
* CPR
* Great leader

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the center.
Arrange and conduct staff meetings and on-going training
Maintain DCF compliance.
Professionally communicate with both staff and parents
Complete daily/weekly reports
Ensure curriculum is implemented throughout the school
Maintain a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times
Manage day-to-day classroom activities
Create activities that are fun and educational
A strong leader.
Maintain a clean, friendly, welcoming environment
Ensure the health and safety of children
